Can You Make Money With Elomir MLM?
Elmoir is a new company that took social media by storm in 2022 with its little yellow strip. So what is Elomir? is it a Scam? Let’s take a deep dive into Elomir!
As a reminder, I have an MBA, I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and have almost 15 years working in finance and accounting. These are my opinions based on researched facts and my understanding of those facts. However, this is not legal, financial, or tax advice. What is Elomir?
Elomir is a multi-level marketing company that currently sells one product – Axis Klärity. It is a dissolvable yellow strip (pictured below) that dissolves on your tongue and then you swallow. The product contains Curcumin Conjugate, NAC Conjugate, and Thiamine Conjugate according to the Elomir website.
They claim this product has many benefits, including better mood, calming thoughts, improved gut health, better skin, less bloating, better sleep, less stress, and much more! These are bold claims that won’t be evaluated by the FDA as supplements don’t fall under FDA authority.
What is a Multi-Level Marketing Company?
When a company chooses to sell a product, they have a few ways to get the product to the market for consumers. We are most familiar with products that are put in either online or physical stores. Sometimes, companies opt to not sell their products in this traditional way and instead, sell them via a multi-level marketing (MLM) company.
When choosing an MLM they skip sending their products to stores and then choose to work with independent sales consultants (known as Icons in Elomir) to sell their products. So those that are associated with MLMs are essentially the sales team for those companies. Multi-level marketing companies also encourage those selling to recruit others to sell the product and “join their team”.
This is controversial because ultimately, by convincing others to sell the product, those recruiting them to get commissions. The only way to make a lot of money in MLMs is to recruit others to your team to rank up. Ultimately, it is unknown if MLMs make their money from selling to customers or from selling to their sales force. Who Started Elomir?
Elomir was started by Toan and Van Nguyen in 2022. They have a long history in multi-level marketing companies dating back to 2002. They were with at least five multi-level marketing companies before starting Elomir, including Legal Shield, Nerium, World Global Network, ByDzyne, and BioReign. Is Elomir a Scam?
Elomir is a multi-level marketing company. The FTC does warn that some pyramid schemes can be disguised as a multi-level marketing company, there is no evidence at this time Elomir falls into this category. However, the majority of people – as high as 99% of people who participate in MLMs lose money. If someone is trying to recruit you to any multi-level marketing company promising big profits and life-changing benefits, its a scam in my opinion. For more information on that, you can see this detailed study.
What is a Pyramid Scheme?
According to the FTC: Pyramid schemes are scams. They can look remarkably like legitimate MLM business opportunities and often sell actual products, maybe even ones you’ve heard of.
A pyramid scheme is when someone is recruited into an opportunity with promises of huge profits for recruiting new members into the scheme.
This is why multi-level marketing companies walk a thin line. The majority of them focus on recruiting more people into the business, not selling products. Often time MLMers will argue if it was illegal, they wouldn’t be in business. But just remember, generally speaking, people do and get away with illegal things until they get caught. Just because they haven’t been caught yet isn’t evidence a company isn’t a pyramid scheme. Regardless if they meet the legal definition of a pyramid scheme – you are most likely going to lose money – which is very unethical and something to be avoided.

Is Elmoir a Pyramid Scheme?
On August 10, 2022, the post below was made by Van Nguyen who is a co-founder of Elomir. They were paying out $1.2 million in commissions. However, sales to the public were not even soft-launched until August 16, 2022. What does this tell us?
This tells us that all of these commissions were paid out from people purely recruiting downlines. So those that are at the top of the organization with the biggest downlines are essentially making commissions off those they have recruited to sell the product. While I do understand a product was also purchased, this is very borderline the definition of a pyramid scheme.
Sales to the public did eventually open. However, I think this is a great example that shows, the people at the top of network marketing are not getting rich off selling products to customers – they are getting rich off the people they recruit and the items they are buying.
How to Make Money in Elomir?
In every MLM some people are making money. To make money in Elomir or any other MLM, you will need to recruit others to join your downline first and foremost. Then you will need to get your downline to get as many sales as possible. This means, you could simply influence your downline to purchase more with their own money to help increase sales volume for bonuses. However, in my very strong opnion, this is very unethical.
If you are recruited to Elomir or another MLM, please be aware for your upline to make more money, it is in their best interest to influence you to spend more money. Often times, they are recruiting people who are deseprate to make money and taking advantage to influence them to join.
Be very mindful of your own spending when joining a MLM, and if you’re in an upline, I would really encourage you to look at the ethics of how you’re earning your bonuses each month!
Should You Join Elomir?
In my opinion, you should not join any MLM. This includes Elomir. While some people do end up getting quite rich in these MLMs, the majority of the people lose money. The rich get richer of the more money those in their downline spend and lose. It is my opinion, MLMs often prey upon women who want to help their families. Oftentimes, these women are already struggling financially. The women pay to join the MLM and those in their upline make commissions off the money paid by the new recruit. Meanwhile, it is likely that new recruits will end up in a worse financial position than when they started while the people in their upline benefit.
It is my personal belief that the MLM business model is very unethical and should be avoided.
Elomir Compensation Plan
Elomir has a YouTube video that explains their compensation plan. I’ve reviewed this video and here is my summary of my understanding of the compensation plan. Elomir offers 5 ways to earn, which I go through below. Like all MLM compensation plans – the bonus payout requirements are complicated, and I will not be going into detail on the specifics (but they are outlined in the video).
They outline some key terms you need to understand their compensation plan:
- Brand Partner (BP) – An Elomir Distributor
- Commissionable Volume (CV) – The number attached to each product on which all commissions are based
- Personal Volume (PV) – CV from a BP’s personal orders and customers’ purchases
- Organizational Volume (OV) – Total volume within a BP’s business
- BP Website – the BPs personalized website/online store
- Retail Bonus
- 35% of Commissionable Value – so when selling an approx $89 product, you earn about $16
- This is not unlike affiliate marketing, and this is based purely on sales alone – not recruiting others to be your team
- Fast Start Bonus
- You earn this bonus by recruiting someone to join Elomir as a BP on your team. They can choose a package that costs them from $89-$800 to join and you’d earn a commission of $6.75 – $60 based upon the package they select
- If your downline recruits additional people, you don’t directly receive a Fast Start Bonus, but they do have a “True Up Payout” that based upon your rank will earn commissions for recruiting. You can see more about this at 2:09 in their video below
- The further you rank up, the bigger the bonuses you get. To rank up, you need to recruit.
- Generational Team Bonus
- A monthly bonus is paid based on commissions of team sales
- This does include sales to BPs and customers
- Rank Advance Bonus
- Bonuses for ranking up and staying at that rank for a period of time.
- This can only be done by building a team
- Promotional 3x Bonus
- This is an additional amount of bonus given for ranking up quickly within a calendar month
- Can only be done by building a team
As you can see from reviewing the compensation plan – even if you only want to make commissions off sales, your upline has a TON of motivation to pressure you into building a downline so that you can make THEM more money. The more you rank up, the more you make – which is true for any MLM.
How Much Does it Cost to Join Elomir?
Elomir offers four package options to join the company as a Brand Partner. There is also an annual membership fee of $49 which may be waived the first year with purchases of some packages.
- Single – Cost $89 and receive a fast start bonus of $6.75 for every BP you recruit into your downline that selects this package.
- Entry – Cost $250 and receive a fast start bonus of $18.75 for every BP you recruit into your downline that selects this package.
- Builder – Cost $400 and receive a fast start bonus of $30 for every BP you recruit into your downline that selects this package.
- Entrepreneur – Cost $800 and receive a fast start bonus of $60 for every BP you recruit into your downline that selects this package.
How to Rank Up In Elomir?
Elomir offers ranks from Icon to Legend for a total of 14 ranks. See the PDF below which is an excerpt of their detailed compensation plan. However, like all MLMs, the only way to reach higher ranks is to recruit people to your downline and increase the sales volume for your team. Just like most MLMs – to rank up in Elomir you must have sales volue coming from more than one leg. This means you have have recruited more than one person, they they need to recruit people to work for them to help meet the sales goals and to diversify where the sales volume is coming from.
What are Elomir Strips? What is in Elomir Strips?
Elomir strips are the main product Elomir is selling called Axis Klärity. These are yellow dissolvable strips that deliver Curcumin Conjugate, NAC Conjugate, and Thiamine Conjugate into the system. They claim this has many health benefits for brain and gut health.
Alternatives to Elomir Products
First off – you should always discuss with your doctor if you should take a supplement, especially if you have any health issues. Also remember, the FDA doesn’t regulate supplements, so you need to be extra in what you choose to buy and consume.
As we discussed above, the product contains Curcumin Conjugate, NAC Conjugate, and Thiamine Conjugate.
- Curcumin can be found in turmeric-based supplements such as this one on Amazon.
- NAC can be found in supplements on its own as well. Another example here on Amazon.
- Thiamine appears to be found in vitamin B-1, like this one on Amazon.
Does Elomir Bypass The Digestive System?
I’m an accountant, not a doctor – so keep that in mind. But I did some research into this and was interested because I used to take perscribed medications for migraines that were orally disintegrating tablet (ODTs) which dissolved under my tongue just like the Elomir strips – Axis Klärity. Through some research, I discovered that these sublingal medications dissolve in a process called pregastric absorption.
Based on an article from Healthline.com that was reviewed by a Medical Doctor – I do believe that Elomir’s Axis Klärity does bypass the digestive system. The article states that sublingal medications are absorbed in the mouth and that the cheek and area under the tongue have many capillaries, or tiny blood vessels. There, drugs can be absorbed directly into the bloodstream without going through your digestive system.
.However, this was not a simple Google search (you’d be shocked if you knew how many articles I read to come to this conclustion). So if you have any additional information on this – I’d love to hear about it! My social medial accounts and contact info are below.
Final Thoughts
It is no secret based upon this article, I am not a fan of the multi-level marketing company business structure. If you decide you’re going to participate in this company, please make sure you go in with healthy skepticism and understand the odds are against you. If you do become successful, at what cost is it? Are you taking advantage of people? Maybe, maybe not. That is up to you to decide.
